By: Manoj Khatri The sky was clear in the city of Hyderabad when I arrived at the home of my uncle.
We were having dinner at home when I saw a huge black cloud over the horizon.
I rushed to my window to watch it and when I opened the window, I saw the darkness around my house was reaching its limit.
It was only then I realised what I was going through.
I knew I would have to act soon.
I looked inside the house and saw that there was no water or electricity in the house.
I was worried as I was sure that the power would go out at any moment.
But my neighbour was there to watch over me and told me that my house would be safe.
The next day I went to my uncle’s house and brought the news to him.
I asked him what I could do to stop the darkness engulfing my house.
He assured me that we could do nothing as we did not have any power.
I then called my friend and she came to my house with some of her relatives.
She had a black umbrella that she used to keep vigil over us.
She then gave me a few minutes to collect some materials for my project.
The next morning, the house was completely dark and I could not move the umbrella from the shade of the tree.
My friend and I started our project and I had to make a few repairs.
In the end, we finished making the house safe and comfortable and even bought a small home that would be a shelter for my family.
This is a project that has been in my back pocket for quite a while now.
My project started with the aim of creating a black roof and I was delighted to be able to see it finished.
Since then, I have been working on this project every day and it has been very fulfilling.
I would like to thank my uncle for saving my life every day.
He is an amazing person and I can only hope that he will see that I have helped him and his family in times of need.
