The best way to keep yourself and your bike safe is to wear your helmet.
Put it on correctly.
Your helmet should be in the middle of your head, the front of your body, not just your helmet’s brim.2.
Don’t wear it upside down.
This makes the helmet look more like a hat and makes it look like you’re putting it on upside down, which it isn’t.3.
Wear it in your lap or a side pocket.
When you’re riding, it’s best to put your helmet on at the top of your skull.
If it’s too far back, you’ll look like an old guy wearing a pair of flip-flops.4.
Keep your helmet in good condition.
If you lose it, it should be cleaned, but if it’s cracked or damaged, it can be replaced.5.
Take your helmet off if you need to.
If the helmet doesn’t fit properly, it may be better to take it off and see what happens.

Don.t. use it in hot weather.
The helmet has to stay cool at least 45 degrees Fahrenheit to stay comfortable.7.
Wear your helmet for a long time.
If your helmet gets too hot, it’ll make your helmet look like it’s been in the sun for an hour or more.
If this happens, replace your helmet and re-tune your helmet, so that it’s still cool.
